The World Handball Championships has become the latest sporting event to be cancelled.
GAA Handball confirmed that the event which was to be hosted by Ireland will not take place as scheduled in 2021.
The showpiece takes place every 3 years, rotating between the United States, Canada and Ireland.
Ireland last held the event in 2012, attracting over 2,000 entrants.
No decision has been made yet as to a proposed date for a rescheduled World Championship.
