Daniel Wiffen is the latest Irish swimmer to qualify for next year's Olympic Games.
He clocked a new Irish record time of seven minutes 43-point-81 seconds in the 800 metres freestyle heats at the World Championships in Japan.
Wiffen is now through to the final with the fourth fastest time overall.
