Wiffen misses out on a medal

Daniel Wiffen has missed out on a medal in the final of the 1500-metres freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Japan.

He finished fourth in the final, with Tunisia's Ahmed Hafnaoui taking gold.

Wiffen's time of 14 minutes, 43-point-01 seconds was 12 seconds behind the winner and just under six seconds behind third place.
