Kerry have won 3-10 to 1-10 at Meath in the Lidl Ladies National Football League.
After scoring the first point of the encounter Kerry goaled twice in 2 minutes, courtesy of Siofra O'Shea and Louise Ní Mhuireachtaigh, to lead by 7 points after 10 minutes. The Kingdom were ahead by 2-2 to 3 points at the water break and led 2-6 to 0-6 at half-time.
Meath were on top early in the second period and got to within a point at 2-7 to 1-9 by the 12th minute of the half. That’s how it stood at the water break. Kerry hit back with 2 points, in the 15th and 26th minutes, before a Hannah O’Donoghue goal had them 6 clear. Kerry went on to win by six.
