VAR will only be used in FA Cup from fifth round onwards

Video Assistant Referee technology will only be used in the FA Cup from the fifth round onwards.

The English Football Association say its to ensure consistent officiating for all clubs in the same stage of the competition.

V-A-R has only been used in the FA Cup previously for ties at Wembley plus at Premier League grounds due to infrastructure and costs.
