There was a 12 race program at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium last night.
Cinco De Mayo owned by Frank Flavin of Listowel took the opening race beating Lakota Breeze by four and a half lengths in 29.64 at a price of 11/2.
Boys of Ballymac owned by Larry Keane of Ballymac prevailed in a closely fought race. He got up on the line to beat Gorm go Leor by a head in 30.22 at a price of 11/4.
Mayfly trained by Anthony Slattery for Stephen and Katie Nix of Tralee won race 3. Hitting the front at the second bend she went on to win easily by four and a half lengths over Exit Ruby at a price of 4/1.
Dan Wren of Tarbert took race four with Steeple Road Sky. Flying from traps she eventually hung on to beat Bolus Olan by a neck in 29.71 at a price of 4/1
Bernal Egan owned by the Thirst-Ten-Syndicate of Kenmare and trained by Ray Fleming from Gneeveguila overcame early trouble to win race 5. Hitting the front on the back straight he beat Gulleen Star by one and a half lengths in 29.60 at a price of 3/1
Mike Costello of Tralee won race 6 with Mileheight Matt. Striking the front at the first bend he won by two lengths over Lisseycasey Harry in 29.24 at a price of 9/4 favourite.
Pat McCarthy from LIstowel took the 7th race with Bonnie Lass. Goign to the ront at the 3rd bend she had a one length win over Caspian Bleu in 29.03 which was the fastest time of the night at a price of 4/1.
Anne and Emily O'Neill from Ballyhar Killarney took the eight race with Emilys Buttercup. Leading from teh first bend, she beat This Man is OUrs by one and a half lenghts in 29.68 at a price of 13/2
Tim Gilbourne from Kilmeedy Co Limerick won the 9th race with Gulleen Roger. Showing great backstraight pace he beat Lone Control by 3 lengths in 29.58 at a price of 5/2 co-favourite.
Paudie Breen from Currow won race 10 with Dromulton Queen. COming home very strongly she won by a head over Cashen Direct in 29.23 at a price of 6/1.
The Harty kennels from the Spa, Tralee continued their good form from last week with another winner. Lassinagh Grand won race 11 by a head over Brexit Polka in 30.18.
The Wren family from Tarbert completed a double in the final race when Steeple Rd Lass had a trap to line victory beating Take Your Magic by 9 lenghts in 29.62.
Racing again at the Kigndom Greyhound Stadium on Friday night featuring the 4 second round heats of the Greyhound and Pet World Juvenile Classic.
