Austin Stacks are the Kerry Petroleum Intermediate Club football champions.

The final replay at Fitzgerald Stadium saw them get the better of Laune Rangers by 1-14 to 5 points in a one sided contest.

Stacks had the first two points, Greg Horan putting over twice in the opening 6 minutes. Joey Nagle made it 3 points to no score in the 17th minute. Stacks led by 5 after 22 minutes, Rangers yet to score.

Ranger finally raised the white flag in the 24th minute. Rangers scored again in the dying seconds of the period to make it 0-6 to 0-2 at half time.

Stacks had 2 of the first 3 points upon the resumption and led 0-8 to 0-3 after 26 minutes. It was 9 to 4 after 47 minutes.

When Rangers got their next point after 56 minutes that made it 13 points to 5.
