The win means Stephen Bradley's side join Dublin neighbours St. Pat's at the top of the table after they enjoyed a 3-0 win over Longford Town in Inchicore.
Elsewhere, Drogheda and Sligo Rovers played out a 1-1 draw at United Park while Dundalk beat Waterford 3-0 away from home.
And Derry came from behind to beat Bohemians 2-1 at Dalymount Park.
In the First Division, Bray Wanderers and Cork City played out a scoreless draw at the Carlisle Grounds.
While it finished up 2-2 between Shelbourne and Treaty United at Tolka Park.
UCD hammered Wexford Youths 6-0 and Cabinteely beat Athlone 2-1.
In the Women's National League there's a Dublin derby at 2-o'clock this afternoon at Tolka Park between Shelbourne and DLR Waves.
Then at 3-o'clock second placed Wexford host Galway while this evening Cork City make the trip to Athlone Town.
