Julian Alvarez is the latest South American talent to be snapped up by Manchester City.
The Premier League leaders have agreed a fee of 18-and-a-half million euro with River Plate for the striker.
Alvarez has already won five senior caps for Argentina, but will remain in Buenos Aires until July.
