R-G Snyman looks set to miss the start of the season for Leinster.
The lock has been left out of the Springboks' squad ahead of next week's Rugby Championship meeting with Argentina due to a foot injury.
Snyman has remained in Dublin to rehab the injury, with Leinster's URC season beginning away to Edinburgh on Friday-week.
