He scored the only goal of the game as Sligo Rovers came away from Shamrock Rovers with a 1-nil win.

That win at Tallaght Stadium sends the Bit O'Red top of the table.

Having gone 33-games unbeaten, Rovers have now lost back-to-back matches.

Jordan Adeyemo scored twice as Drogheda United stretched their winning streak to four matches.

Tim Clancy's side were 4-1 winners at home to Longford Town.

Georgie Kelly netted a hat-trick for Bohemians, who hammered Dundalk 5-1 at Dalymount Park.

Both sides ended that game with ten men.

Finn Harps came from behind to win 2-1 at Waterford.

While Derry City and St. Patrick's Athletic drew 2-2 at the Ryan McBride Brandywell.
