Rangers say there has been no official approach from Aston Villa for manager Steven Gerrard.
The Premier League club are on the lookout for a new boss after sacking Dean Smith at the weekend.
They're reportedly keen on speaking to Gerrard - who's been at Ibrox since 2018 - but do have other candidates on their shortlist.
