Munster have been dealt a double injury blow ahead of Saturday's URC meeting with Leinster at Croke Park.

Peter O'Mahony and Oli Jager have both been ruled out.

O'Mahony has a hamstring problem, while Jager is nursing a neck injury.

Tom Ahern, Mike Haley and Alex Nankivell will all be assessed later in the week.

Connacht prop Sam Illo has been ruled out of action for a month with an ankle injury.

But in better news for head coach Pete Wilkins, captain Sam Prendergast has come through the return-to-play protocols, and should be available for Saturday’s game away to
Ulster.

Jordan Duggan, Joe Joyce and Josh Ioane also return, having missed Friday’s loss away to Scarlets.
