Mid Kerry settled themselves after conceding a first minute West Kerry goal to win their first round game in the Garvey's Supervalu County Senior Football Championship.
The Group 3 fixture at Austin Stack Park, Tralee ended Mid Kerry 1-14 West Kerry 1-10.
