Mona McSharry had the fourth fastest time in the 100-metres breaststroke semi-finals at the World Aquatics Championships in Japan today.
She finished second in her semi in a time of 1-minute five-point-96 seconds and will swim in the final tomorrow afternoon.
That time was just outside the Irish record she set in her heat this morning with a time of 1-minute five-point-55 seconds.
