Kieran McGeeney will stay in charge of Armagh's senior football team for next season.
The one-year extension will bring the former All-Ireland winning captain's tenure with his home county to eight seasons.
McGeeney's side exited the Championship this summer at the hands of Monaghan in the Ulster semis.
Meanwhile,
Cork defender Niall O'Leary faces a race to be fit for Sunday's All-Ireland Hurling semi-final against Kilkenny.
The corner-back picked up a leg injury in the Rebel's win against Dublin last weekend.
Luke Meade and Conor Cahalane both look set to be fit for Kieran Kingston's side.
