Tonight's card at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium features the final of the 2021 Lee Strand 550, with a winners prize of €7,000.
In what has proved to be a top class event over the last four weeks there is going to be an intriguing final tonight.
Ballymac Rule owned by Liam Dowling is going for an unprecedented 10 wins in a row.
There has never been a dog running at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium that has achieved this in the past and to do so winning the Lee Strand 550 would be a super achievement.
This however is not going to prove easy as there is top class opposition in the likes of the Waterford owned Droopys Miriam, Realism owned by the O'Rahilly family in Ballymacelligott and Dromulton Pilot trained in Tralee by Pat McMahon and owned in Currow by Paudie Breen.
The first of an all sponsored Lee Strand 12 race program (racing behind closed doors as per current Covid-19 protocols) starts at 7.30pm and Radio Kerry's Alan Finn will broadcast live from the venue from 8 to 10 pm with live commentary of the Final at 9.20.
Six sports clubs have been paired with tonight's finalists with Lee Strand continuing to show their support for all sports in the county.
The draw is as follows:
Trap 1 - Droopys Miriam - Lixnaw GAA
Trap 2 - Ballymac Rule - Crotta GAA
Trap 3 - Slippy Kemp - Abbeydorney GAA
Trap 4 - Realism - Cordal GAA
Trap 5 - Knight Supreme - Castleisland Kingdom Badminton Club
Trap 6 - Dromulton Pilot - Churchill GAA
