Killorglin duo Monika Dukarska and Aileen Crowley missed out on a medal in the Women’s Pair final at the European Rowing Championship in Varese today.
After a bright start, they faded in the second half to finish 6th.
Gary O'Donovan came home in fourth in the lightweight men's single sculls final.
Lydia Heaphy finished in sixth in the Lightweight Women's Single Sculls A final.
There are still medal prospects for Ireland in the Women's Four and the Lightweight Women's Double Sculls.
Fintan McCarthy and Paul O'Donovan will also compete in the Lightweight Men's double sculls final.
