Kilkenny Appoint Lyng As Cody's Successor

Derek Lyng is the new Kilkenny senior hurling manager.

The former All Ireland winning midfielder has been handed a 3-year term to replace Brian Cody on Noreside.

His backroom team is set to be confirmed at a later date.

Lyng previously worked as a selector under Cody before managing the Black and Amber under-20's until recently.
