Following confirmation of the updated easing of restrictions received from Pitch & Putt Ireland last Friday, the county’s Pitch & Putt clubs have returned to club competitions this week with the ‘two household’ guideline lifted and any combination of four players now allowed to play together under the standard Pitch & Putt rule regarding playing numbers.
Clubs may also accept green fees and non-members for play if they so wish as it is expected that competitive action outside of the club setting will resume from Monday June 7th.
The 2021 County Board AGM meanwhile will take place virtually on Friday week, May 21st at 8pm. It will be a truncated meeting this year because of the current situation with only the specific requirements laid out by Pitch & Putt Ireland for the hosting of such a meeting being dealt with during the meeting.
Clubs will be contacted with log in details in the coming week.
Officials await further confirmation from national as regards a list of summer fixtures in the coming weeks.
