Ireland beaten in 3rd place playoff

Ireland had to settle for fourth place at the World Under-20 Championship.

Willie Faloon’s side fell to a 38-points to 24 defeat to New Zealand this evening in Cape Town.

England were crowned champions courtesy of a 21-points to 13 win over France.
