Australia have beaten Ireland by 42 runs in their T20 World Cup meeting in Brisbane.
The hosts posted 179, with Ireland bowled out for 137 having lost five wickets in the first five overs.
It means Ireland are fourth in the Group One table with a final group match against New Zealand to come on Friday.
