Halgrimsson To Base Himself In Ireland

The Republic of Ireland's new senior manager has spoken to the media for the first time.

Heimir Hallgrimsson was announced as Stephen Kenny's successor yesterday.

His first games will be in the Nations League at home to England and away to Greece in September.

Iceland native Hallgrimsson says he plans to be based here.
