Formula One has announced Susie Wolff as managing director of the F1 Academy - which is aimed at developing female drivers for competition.
Announced last year, the series features five teams, 15 drivers and holds 21 races across a number of F1 tracks.
Wolff - who is married to Mercedes team principal Toto - is a former driver and team leader.
