The president of Formula 1 says drivers will not be silenced if they want to use their voice to speak out about issues this season.
Motor sport's governing body, the F-I-A, has changed a rule which makes it illegal to make "personal, religious and political statements" without permission.
Several drivers have expressed concern and asked for clarity.
