Everton confirm Ashley Cole as a first-team coach

Everton have confirmed Ashley Cole will work under former Chelsea and England team-mate Frank Lampard as a first-team coach.

Lampard, who was recently appointed head coach of the Premier League club, also managed him as a player at Derby.

Cole will continue to be the assistant to England Under-21 boss Lee Carsley.
