Holders East Kerry are into the last four of the Garvey’s SuperValu County Senior Football Championship.
They’ve gotten the better of St.Kieran’s 2-13 to 1-14.
Kieran's were ahead by 6 points to 4 at the first half water break but the reigning champions rallied and led 1-7 to 0-9 at the short whistle. That goal was scored by Paudie Clifford.
A Kieran's goal, from James Walsh, put them in front at 1-13 to 1-10 at the 3/4 stage. A David Clifford goal late on put East Kerry one ahead but Kieran's drew level.
Points in added on time by the Clifford brothers saw East Kerry through but the Kerry captain received a straight red card at the end.
Also in the ¼ Finals St.Brendan’s beat Legion 2-17 to 1-9.
There’s another double header today.
The remaining ¼ Finals are on in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney.
Dr.Crokes against Templenoe is on at 2 & Mid Kerry versus Kenmare Shamrocks throws-in at 4.
The games will be live on Radio Kerry.
