Former US Open champion Emma Raducanu left the court in tears after retiring hurt in her last-16 match at the Auckland Open tennis.
She'd just dropped the second set against Slovakia's Viktoria Kuzmova before an injury to her left ankle forced her to withdraw.
The 20-year-old is now a doubt for the Australian Open - the first Grand Slam of the year - which is less than two weeks away.
