Child Mental Health Services: “Where is the Action? Where is the Change?” – January 23rd, 2023
An interim report has been published today on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the State. Sinn Féin deputy Pa Daly give his reaction and calls for the publication into North Kerry CAMHS. Jerry also speaks to Mary, (not her real name), whose son attended South Kerry CAMHS. A report last year found that 46 children suffered significant harm and a further 240 were put at risk of harm as a result of the treatment they received there.
