Johnny O' Connor, Pat O'Riordan and Timmy O'Connor share their memories of Killorglin Railway Station with Kaya on Travels Through a Kingdom.
Johnny is the chairperson of the Killorglin Archive Society and researched the history and significant dates of the railway station, which he tells us.
Pat O'Riordan remembers the station when he was a very young child, as his father worked there. He shares the memories and stories that he had from the railway station. He recalls one very funny story of a man who was from Annascaul that was on the late shift!
Timmy briefly remembers the railway station, but tells us the story of the Leather Factory which was run by Paul Wenzil in 1964, when he worked there.
The discussion takes a look to todays world and how the railway station was a massive impact for the town of Killorglin.
