Saturday Supplement - March 6th, 2021

On the Saturday Supplement with Joe McGill this week, it is the first Saturday of the month so we will have our ‘In Focus’ photo slot with Domnick Walsh. We’ll also hear the Sixth episode of ‘Plastic Generation’ produced by Joe McGill and Connie Broderick. Padraig Howley decided to document his journey to get fit on social media, as the part time farmer aimed to complete 21 days as a vegan to improve his health. He has captured the hearts of the nation with his entertaining cooking, singing, and lilting, videos and has amassed 75,000 (and counting) followers on Instagram. Joe will chat to Padraig and he’ll also speak to South Kerry Tenor Gavan Ring from the Royal Theatre of La Monnaie in Brussels, where he is currently in rehearsals as he aims to hit the stage again in what has been a difficult time for performers.
