On the Saturday Supplement with Joe McGill we’ll hear from Asdee’s Mairead Hanlon who is organising a fundraiser for Community Cenacolo in Knock. Mairead will tell us all about the organisation which provides a free, fully residential programme to help people suffering from addiction to change their lives. We’ll have another episode of ‘A Blas of Kerry; Women in Food’, this time featuring Karen Coakley AKA Kenmare Foodie. Also Logainmneacha Chiarraí where national school children in Kerry will tell the stories and meaning of local place names in their area. We’ll hear from the school children of Cróchán Naofa NS in Caherdaniel and the school children of Scoil an Ghleanna in the Glen. We’ll also have Kerry County Council Creative Kingdom letting you know what’s going on in the Arts world.
