On the Saturday Supplement with Joe McGill this week we’ll be hearing from local historian and Tarbert native Donal O’Connor about the important role the pig played in rural Kerry. We’ll here from Maureen Sullivan about a community project asking people to write a personal essay about how they have coped with and endured a year of being under lockdown. We’ll also hear from RTE National Symphony Orchestra conductor and Kerry man Robert Houlihan about how the pandemic affected his way of life and how he turned it into a positive. It is the second Saturday of the month so we have our Kerry County Council Creative Kingdom letting you know what’s going on in the Arts world around the county.
