Now you will have heard ads for the HSE campaign to help make people aware and take part in the efforts to help those with dementia lead full lives in our communities. It’s all part of the developing initiative that has been running here in Kerry for the past few years – it’s about awareness and making Kerry a welcoming and fulfilling place to live for those who have dementia.

To find out what you can do and hear more about what is being developed Jerry spoke to Eibhlís Cahillane, Dolores McElligott  and Catherine Murphy who are part of the HSE’s community care team and who are also with the wider Kerry Dementia Friendly Interagency Group.

Jerry first asked Dolores to talk about the group and what has been developed in Kerry.
