This week on Ours to Protect we took a look at climate anxiety.
Did you know?.....
Climate or eco-anxiety is experienced by people who are extremely worried about the future of the planet.
People experiencing this may feel anxious or overwhelmed by the looming threat of climate change.
It's important to note that anyone who feels completely overwhelmed by anxiety should seek support.
What can I do?....
Focus on what you can do and what is already being done.
Keep track of your own waste and usage, and cut down where possible. You can find your own ecological footprint here.
Get involved in local groups. It can help to surround yourself with like-minded people, who can offer support when needed.
Educate yourself.
Focus on finding reliable sources of information. This can help get an idea of the current facts and climate targets set by governing bodies.
Get out in nature, learn what it is that needs protecting
