Senator Michael McDowell wrote in The Irish Times this week of his unhappiness in the delay in delivering important infrastructural projects. He wondered if we would be better off if we followed the lead of Victorians in this area. He said in the 19th century major infrastructural projects were built quickly by getting approval through parliament.
Senator McDowell will deliver the keynote speech at the Daniel O’Connell Summer Schools which begins tomorrow and runs until Saturday. https://danieloconnellsummerschool.com/
