Dr Crokes on County Final Win and SIPTU on Kostal Seeking Voluntary Redundancies – October 29th, 2024

Jerry spoke to Eoin Brosnan who’s chair of Dr Crokes about winning the Bishop Moynihan Cup for the 14^th time. He also spoke to sector organiser with SIPTU Martin O’Rourke about Kostal’s plans for 60 voluntary redundancies at its plant in Abbeyfeale. Kostal has operated in Ireland since 1981, and employs around 1,000 people between plants in Abbeyfeale and Mallow, manufacturing electronic parts.
