Victoria Kennefick is a Tralee-based poet from Cork. She wrote an article for The Irish Times about how her life changed when her former spouse, the person she considered to be her husband, came out as a transwoman. Victoria said she needed to come to terms with the fact that her version of the person she loved was not the person her former spouse wanted to be.
