The theme for this month got me "thinking outside the box" as often suggested by Dominic,so here are my 3 photos for the August competition:
1.Breaking waves at Beenbawn Beach Dingle with the aqua green water and the golden light on the spray above
2.Enjoying an ice cream cone at Dingle Races last Sunday Aug 11th 2024.I zoomed in on the golden coloured cone,conscious of the green in the background
3. Silage harvesting at Inch Co Kerry.Loved the contrast between the cut green grass and the bare golden lines between

Theme - Green and Gold
And just when I thought my sunflowers would never open, along came the late summer/early autumn sunshine. Green to gold, all in 2 days🌻
After they have finished flowering, they will go to seed. The garden birds (particularly finches) will enjoy the feast!
