Hello Domnick and Joe,The photo was taken on the early morning of Tuesday 17th January 2023. It is my very favourite spot, down by Lough Gill in Castlegregory when I was out walking the dogs and we stopped to admire the stunning view as the sun was just beginning to rise. What more could you want to start your day.........Best wishes, Martin Greenwood, Castlegregory
The month of January heralds the start of a new year but it can have frosty mornings when people can enjoy lovely sceneries as seen at Blennerville with the reflection of the windmill on the canal and the snowcapped Slieve Mish mountains in the background. Yours, Moss Joe Browne
Hello Joe & Dominic, Please see my three photos attached. 1. Castlegregory Kerry..Mt Brandon covered in snow, 2 Breaking waves at Castlegregory beach, 3 Loch Gill Castlegregory with snow topped Mt Brandon in background. Love the show, Sheila Quirke, Castlegregory
These were taking at 6am last Wednesday morning when I out for my early morning walk Joe. Lovely winter snowy scenes in Listowel. Thank's Joe, Patrick Godfrey.
Good afternoon Joe & Dominic. This is my peaceful , meditating spot by the sea at “Taobh Coille”. It is Tír na nÓg to me . Best wishes, Agnes
Hello Joe and Domnick, Venice has been my favourite place for a long time - I love the colours and travelling on the canal and out to the islands.
My first photo is a general view of the Grand Canal with the Rialto Bridge in the background.
The second photo is of blue-covered gondolas moored to traditional poles. I find the blues, pinks and whites of Venice very appealing.
My third photo cost me a few Euro. This lovely lady indicated to me that her minimum fee was 4 Euro. I think I got an extra special smile as I dropped a little more into her green bowl. She delights in seeing day-trippers arriving in to Venice.
Thank you, Margaret O'Shea
My favourite place. Looks like I'll have to drive it myself. Thanks Nora Nelligan.
Hi Joe, I understand the theme for January is "open" so I have attached 3 shots, the 2 snowy ones were only taken during the recent cold snap in January 2023

Hi Joe and Dominic,
Attached two images for "my favourite place" theme.First photo is a January sunset at Inch Beach with two fishing trawlers in the background operating unusually close to the beach.Second shot shows snowcapped Carrauntohill and majestic Magillycuddy Reeks reflected on the still waters of Castlemaine Harbour taken on the shoreline at Inch about 2 miles east of beach.
Best regards to both of you for 2023
