Christmas lights display with over 500,000 lights. ANY DOUBTS that Christmas is well and truly on the way this month when Templeglantine man Tony Noonan switched on his famous charity festive lights.
Every year Tony decorates his home and garden at Tullig North with over thousandsof Euro worth of lights collected over many years , and opens his doors to visitors from across the county, all in a bid to raise money for local charities.

Hi Joe and Domnick, Attached three photos for this month's In Focus - What Christmas means to me.
1. Christmas Cake - for the past 5 years I have made my Christmas cake with my Goddaughter Lily and we decorate it together using her ideas for the decoration. This is Lily making this years cake.
2. Christmas Tree - putting up the tree with the wonderful children in my life for the past twenty five years. This was taken a few years ago as I don't put up the tree until nearer to Christmas.
2. Christmas weather - this was from last year when there was frosty weather during Christmas.
Happy Christmas to you both. Regards, Siobhan O'Connor
Hello Joe and Domnick, Thank you both for a wonderful year of the Saturday Supplement. I am sending you various Christmas photos that I took over the years.
Photo 1 is called “Christmas Fun on Grafton Street”. I love the atmosphere on the streets of Dublin at Christmas and some years ago these three children were delighted to engage with the Street Entertainer and had good fun with him.
Photo 2 is called “Santa arrives in Farranfore” Everyone in Farranfore looks forward to the lighting of the Christmas tree in the village. Santa usually gets a lift to Farranfore in an Airport vehicle and then he goes to help with turning on the Christmas lights.
Photo 3 is called “Christmas Fundraising in Dublin”. It is heartwarming to see that the poor and needy are not forgotten during the festive season. In this photo we see young people devoting their time to fundraising for Sergio.
Thanks again and Nollaig shona daoibh beirt. Margaret O’Shea
Good morning Joe & Dominic. I look at the cut of the clock this morning. Last Wed in November 10am !!! Less than two hours remaining , for my three pictures to Joe & Dominic on RK. The story I tell you is true . The date of my antique photo taken in 1959 on our way to mass in Foilmore on Sundays or Christmas day is forever etched in my heart & soul for all eternity . Our one horse power carriage with our lovely dad Eddie Lynch taught me everything I know about family living . Two more pics to follow = Christmas Crib & our fireside as we look forward to Dec 24th & welcoming our family. I wish you both & your families Health , Peace & Happiness. Agnes
A snapshot of our expectations. Please God. John & me 🍷🥃🎅🎅
