Purpl Unicorn, IBM Skills Build and Logitech are hosting the Celebrating Compassion in Action event next Tuesday at IBM in Dublin.
Purpl Unicorn was founded in 2019 by Mauritian, Dina Vyapuri, who has made her home in Listowel. She believes that displaced migrants have valuable skills and experience which can benefit the host country given the chance and that everyone deserves the chance to better their lives through employment and education.
At next Tuesday’s event, people will be able to hear the successful stories of displaced migrants who re-skilled and are now working within the emerging technology industry, as well as partners who have embraced the Refugee Career Development programme.
