This two-part radio documentary series focuses on people in Kerry who have done extraordinary things to help others. The first episode features Elaine Burrows – Dillane and Michaela Edwards. Elaine is a long-distance marathon swimmer who swam the English Channel to raise money for charity. Michaela established Wild Water Adventures in 2015 with her husband John and they have organized water-based charity events such as the “Dip in the Nip”. The second episode of the documentary features Paul Hanrahan along with George and Mary Sugrue. Paul founded the charity Action Lesotho in 2005 while George and Mary are volunteers with Chernobyl Children International.
This documentary hopes to inspire people to take part in charity work, as every contribution makes a difference.
