The worst of the rain for Kerry is due overnight, with warnings of hazardous conditions and spot flooding on the roads.
Council crews are on standby across Kerry and Cork, and pumps have been deployed to areas prone to flooding.
Up to 50mm of rain are expected up to midday tomorrow - when the status orange rain warning expires.
