Residents in a West Kerry nursing home held their own Rose of Tralee style-competition, to make sure the popular event was marked this year.
The Rose of Tralee International Festival was cancelled for the first time in its 61-year history, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each year the contestants visit Ocean View Nursing Home in Camp and activity co-ordinator there, Kay O'Shea was determined to celebrate the hugely popular festival this August.
She organised their very own event and the residents became Roses for the day.
