A west Kerry sheep farmer says legislation needs to be strengthened to deter people from leaving their dogs loose on hills.
John Joe Fitzgerald from Ballinlochaig says this has been an issue for the past decade but has become more prevalent during the pandemic.
He says Kerry County Council needs to erect signage to inform hillwalkers.
Mr Fitzgerald says sheep are being worried and injured and farmers are close to locking gates in the area.
