Two weather warnings have been issued for Kerry and Cork.
A 24-hour status yellow wind warning will be in operation for the two counties from midnight.
Gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour will be possible.

At the same time the two counties will be under a similar rain warning along with Clare, Waterford, Galway and Mayo with up to 50 millimetres of rain possible in 24 hours.
