Wander Wild Festival returning to Killarney
Ready for the great outdoors again... After a two year hiatus, The Killarney Wander Wild Festival in Co Kerry takes place from Friday March 25th - 27th, 2022. The town plays host to an event-filled Wander Wild Festival. An exciting programme of events has been lined up for outdoor enthusiasts. On the opening night of the festival, a spectacular opening equinox parade through the streets will dramatically celebrate the rebirth of spring time. The adventures on offer include mountain hikes – taking in Ireland’s highest peak Carrauntoohil – kayak and boat trips on the lakes, guided national park cycles, photography workshops, orienteering, lake walks, rock climbing and abseiling adventures. www.wanderwildfestival.com and [email protected]. The Wander Wild Festival is returning to Killarney next month.

It was cancelled for the past two years due to the pandemic.

It'll run from March 25th to 27th with an opening equinox parade through the town.

Among the adventures on offer over the weekend are mountain hikes, kayak and boat trips, and night nature walks.

Kerry food and drink will take centre stage in a town centre food trail.
