A staff member from the intensive care unit at University Hospital Kerry has praised her colleagues for their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
ICU staff members will take part in the National COVID Research and Scientific conference on Saturday.
Experts will present the latest information available on the virus.
Those attending the conference will also discuss the impact of respiratory illness on young people who have contracted the virus.

It’s a national event organised by ICU staff to put the focus back on the patients, who’ve overcome coronavirus; healthcare workers say they are the real heroes.
It’s aiming to raise €100,000 for four charities, Breakthrough Cancer Research, Aware, ALONE and ICUsteps.
