An unaccompanied learner driver tested positive for cannabis and cocaine at a checkpoint.
The Kerry Road Policing Unit conducted a Mandatory Intoxicant Testing Checkpoint in Tralee last night when they detected the driver.
A small quantity of suspected cannabis was also found in the vehicle.

The driver was arrested and the vehicle detained, and a blood sample obtained for analysis.
